Merry Christmas to all my Venture Bros. friends!

My Christmas present from John McDonald of Cinemastery Studios arrived today and I put them on the Tree as soon as I ripped open the Box! Thanks John!

I would like to wish a very special Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to just a few of my Venture Bros. friends some of which I met at Dragon*Con 2011.
John McDonald the genius behind Cinemastery studios, Susan Blix, of Venture Bros Cosplay, Ann-Marie Gearheart of the PRoV for providng all the awesome Swag, Vic Demise who designed the background of this page for me, Alishia Willingham for bringing me into being as Henchman 18,  Joanie Mars for being the best damn Molotov out there, Hank Infowun Venture of the Venture Compound on Fb, Katie Timoney for her devotion to The Venture Home News on Fb, and last but not least Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick for the joy they have brought to all our lives, but especially Doc Hammer just for being my friend!

The Venture Bros. Blog in conjunction with The Venture Home News and Venture Bros. Cosplay presents The Venture Bros. Christmas Song Video Contest!
The countdown to Christmas is on but don’t be bummed by the added traffic, gift wrapping or indigestible fruitcake. Here’s a way to vent those holiday frustrations and share the joy of The Venture Brothers all with the potential to win free stuff! Make your own music video using one of the many holiday songs provided by Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer. Download your favorite song in mp3 format then use it in your own home made video.
Do any of the following or any combination for your music video:
• Setup your webcam and lip sync your way through all the characters and the entire song.
• Use your Venture Bros. costumes and stage a skit set to the song.
• Convince your family or friends to dance to your choreography set to a Venture Bros. Christmas song.
• Take your favorite scenes from the show and edit them into your own custom music video.
• Use your Venture Brothers action figures as the players in your video (extra points might be awarded for stop-motion animation).
• Create an animated slide show set to music of your favorite cosplay or cartoon moments.
There are very few rules to this contest, do any of the above mentioned methods but you must do the following to enter the contest:
• Your video must be uploaded, playable and accessible on youtube by no later than January 2, 2012.
• You must use one of past Venture Brothers Christmas Songs in your video.
• You must share the link to your video the Venture Bros. Blog or Venture Bros. Cosplay or Venture Home News fan page on Facebook.
Winner will be determined by January 8, 2012.
I know what you’re saying “There’s not enough time!!!” If we’ve learned anything from Hollywood concerning Christmas that is you should always believe in Christmas miracles. Or think of it the super villain way, if the time constraints discourage people from entering then that only INCREASES your chances of winning.

Alishia Willihgham

I met Alishia Willingham at Dragon* Con 2011 while she was waiting to get her small stuffed Henchman doll signed by Doc Hammer. She's a young talented artist that you might find on Facebook if you know who to look for. I stood in line behind her while waiting for Quiet time with Doc Hammer to begin, and watched fascinated as she carefully inked in the black area of one of the Henchmen in her Venture Bros. comic page. I later learned that she will take a photograph and for a mere $15 turn you  into a full color henchman in the service of the my Monarch. She did the artwork for my profile picture and turned me into the snarling Henchman 18 you see here, and also on The Venture Home News page on FB. John McDonald

I met John McDonald at Dragon*Con 2011. I had just picked up my badge at will call in the Sheraton in downtown Atlanta early on Friday morning, and as I was leaving the hotel I noticed a young man in a light blue Venture Industries speed suit tinkering with a life size H.E.L.P.eR.. Having corresponded on the internet I knew who he was so I walked up to him and said,"You must be John McDonald?" We talked for a while and he showed me the finer points of his mechanical H.E.L.P.eR. As we walked together through the streets of Atlanta I began to realize just how Huge a Venture Bros. fan this man is. His head is full of ideas on how to bring quality Venture Bros. merchandise to the masses. besides H.E.L.PeR. and his Shrink-ray gun that can be seen on Youtube he has now started a line of Venture Bros. hoodies, and is as of this posting working on an assortment of Venture Bros. Christmas ornaments. He also does commissioned work on Venture Bros. props and cosplay items.  John and I have talked several times about his plans for future, and let me tell you they are Grand and I would love to see them come to fruition.  John does high Quality work with attention to detail, and He is committed to bring  affordable quality  Venture Bros. themed merchandise to the multitude of fans that are yearning to have something from their favorite show for there very own.

There's been some talk that Doc and Jackson may be a bit too busy to favor us with another Christmas song this Year. I myself make no suggestions as to what that song should be knowing that the Fellas don't take well to suggestions. But I would like to know what you think. Will there be another Venture Bros. Christmas song? Will Adult Swim combine them all into a Christmas album to make a buck like they did for A.T.H.F? Will Dean ever find true Love? Will Hank ever get laid again? Tell me what you Think?
